A content strategist helps in content strategy which includes : A list of clear goals, A competitor analysis, Persona development, A brand style guide, An initial editorial calendar, A method for measuring success.
Responsibilities:
- Performing exhaustive research to gain in-depth knowledge of all customer personas
- Performing extensive research and analysis on consumer thoughts and trends
- Creating specifications and content appropriate for the brand's customer personas
- Strategizing content pillars and sub pillars
- Planning the editorial calendar and content proposition
- Collaborating with content management teams, creative teams, and writers to implement the strategy

Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Content Strategist, Content Manager or similar role
- Experience in project management is a plus

Content Manager

A content manager refers to the Content Strategist to make day-to-day decisions about what should be written, how and when. This person should be able to explain to content creators why a piece of content should be created. Content Managers should be fluent in keyword research to identify topics and opportunities for improving organic traffic.
